Mommy and Me Skating Class — $150.00

A Special Course of Skating Lessons For Beginners 
     Our Mommy and Me skating lessons are a series of courses to give you and your child the best benefits of ice skating. Classes are limited to 8 couples. All lessons are taught in a step-by-step progression as part of our planned Skating School program, designed to teach the basic fundamental of ice skating.
     Classes will be held on Saturday mornings. We also have tot, youth, and adult classes. The Skating School is available to talk with you, either by phone or in person, daily from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. Just call the Ice Arena at (310) 398-5719
     Tuition does not include skate rental.   
Summary of Class Features: 
  • Ten 45-minute classes over a ten-week period. 
  • Free admission to a public session on the day of your lesson, plus a second “free admission” for another day for practice time (for both to practice).
  • Upon final lesson of the course, student will be permitted to bring a friend as their guest. (public session skating only) 
Special Instruction To Parents: 
Be at the rink at least 15 minutes before class. 
Ask for rental skates ONE size smaller than regular shoe size.  Skates MUST be snug, with toes to front of boot and properly laced. 
Be sure child has a warm sweater and gloves.  Please wear THIN socks or stockings. 
Two make-up lessons may be made up during the 10 weeks of the course.  (See the instructor)
Discount Information: 
A $5.00 discount for early enrollments (one week before the first day of the new session). A discount of $10.00 will be given to students who consecutively re-enroll in our skating school program at the next level; or a 10% discount will be given to families of three or more who enroll together.
Refunds: 
Cancellations allowable as follows:  After 1st week, 75% refund; After 2nd week, 60% refund; After 3rd week, 45% refund; thereafter, None.
